Brittany Murphy dead at 32!

Actress Brittany Murphy has died, according to the Los Angeles coroner's office.
The 32-year-old actress, who starred in "Clueless" and with Eminem in "8 Mile," was declared dead at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, according to Selena Barrows, an investigator with the coroner's office.

"We have a preliminary death report of someone with the name of Brittany Murphy," Barrows told TheWrap. The report came from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center at 11 a.m. on Sunday.
The news was first reported by TMZ.com.
TMZ said multiple sources reported that the actress had gone into cardiac arrest and could not be revived on Sunday morning.

Barrows said cardiac arrest could mean any number of things, and was not an indication of the cause of death.
However, Murphy's suspected excessive use of drugs had been the subject of widespread speculation, and was even the subject of a parody sketch on a recent "Saturday Night Live" Weekend Update.

The Los Angeles City Fire Department said a 911 call was made at 8 a.m. from the Los Angeles home of Murphy's husband, Simon Monjack. She was pronounced dead on arrival at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Born in Atlanta, Murphy started acting in regional theater at age 9; by age 13, she had signed with a manager and began appearing in television commercials. Her first roles were on TV series such as "Murphy Brown" and "Parker Lewis Can't Lose," which led to her breakthrough film, 1995's "Clueless."

She had five movies currently in production, including "Poor Things," with Rosario Dawson; "Shrinking Charlotte," with Kathleen Turner; and Sylvester Stallone's "The Expendables," with Stallone, Jet Li and Jason Statham.
In 2005, she signed on as the spokesmodel for Jordache Jeans. She has been named to both FHM's 10 Sexiest Women List, and Maxim's Hot 100.
In 2006, she released the single "Faster Kill Pussycat," which became a club hit on Billboard's Hot Dance Club Play chart. She also covered Queen's "Somebody to Love" and Earth, Wind & Fire's "Boogie Wonderland" for the film "Happy Feet."

She married screenwriter Monjack in 2007; before that, she was engaged to talent manager Jeff Kwatinetz, and production assistant Joe Macaluso. In late 2002, she dated Ashton Kutcher, with who she co-starred in the film "Just Married."
Kutcher late Sunday morning tweeted about Murphy's death: "2day the world lost a little piece of sunshine. My deepest condolences go out 2 Brittany's family, her husband, & her amazing mother Sharon."

Spring Semester

Well the time has come I finally did it!!!!!!! On Tuesday December 1, 2009 I registered for my spring classes, paid them in full, and got all books that are needed for my classes. I have orientation on the 5Th of Jan, 2010. I cant wait til I get to start. I finally feel as if I accomplished something since being laid off in January.

As for Rudy, he is just trucking along and he will have one semester down by the 21st of this month. Wow, where does the time go??????? Almost 16 weeks ago he was just starting, now is getting ready for finals and winter break. He as well is ready to go for spring.

It is hard to believe that I will be returning to school. I wasn't the best student that I could have been, but I now know why parents push so hard and stay on top of the kids while in school. Hopefully this is one lesson that I will not have to repeat in the future.

First snow of Winter 2009

Looking in to sky!!!!! It's snowing.

We are now in to December and just getting our first snow fall. Did not get any accumulation out of it, but it did snow and now it doesn't want to go away.. Right at this moment it is around 25 degrees and snowing and the wind is just whipping it all around.

Whats up with all the photos?????

As you all may know I have been trying to keep myself busy before starting school in January. So I decided that I would try out my degree before I even get it. I starting watching three amazing kids during day to see if I really want to get a degree in Early Childcare Education. So far, not hating it.
These are the most amazing and truly blessed kids that I watch during the day.
I take care of three kids, two boys and a girl.
Annabell, who is the oldest, 4yrs
J.R. (Johnny Ray Carlton 3) is 3yrs
Nolan, the baby, darling love of my day life, is almost 2 yrs.

Yeah you can that I might have bit off more then I can handle and at times it sure as heck feels that way but I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.

Everyday is something new, the two oldest one attending a private preschool on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9:00 to 11:30. So that means that the baby and I are all alone for 2 and 1/2 hours.
How do you keep the attention span of a 1 and 1/2 yrs old??????????
Its been interesting, trying to keep this little guy busy so I can do things around the house that need tending to (dishes, laundry, sweeping, vacuuming, etc.) I have become very fond of gates. Not in the bad way but that is the only way I can keep him in my eye sight and hearing . He is aloud everywhere but the kitchen, for his safety and my sanity.

So from time to time you will see random pictures and no posts.
Will post pictures of kids shortly.........

Finally.......

Well its about time that I finally get around to updating our blog. There have some many things going on that trying to update was just impossible there for a while.

What has been Happening:

Rudy is fully engaged in school eight weeks and counting. He has managed to make it half way through the semester and still doing great.

As for me, I am still working on my REM (remediation for school). I didn't past the entrance exam for college so now I am making up or relearning the material that I need to past or meet the score numbers. I will be starting school in January for E.C.E. (early childcare education). I am nervous yet excited. I love kids and cant wait to start.

Bummer Day....

Today was a total long, drawn out, stressful day and soooo glad that it is over.
We had a funeral to go to ( Rudy's cousin on mom's side). OMGosh it was very hard not to cry.
His cousin past away Tuesday, Feb. 10,2009 after a car accident. He was on his way to the gym after working a whole bunch of crazy hrs. and he fell asleep at the wheel and hit a truck, dont know if it was a semi, or a pick-up truck- still kinda unsure bout the details, nobody knows for sure.
His mom called to tell us tuesday night but missed her call. We found out wednesday and from then on, let me tell you..... preparing for a funeral is never the easiest thing to do. I dont even have the words to express my feelings even hrs after. I dont know how to explain the situation for all.
Rudy comes from a VERY LARGE FAMILY and so far it seems that the only time I ever meet a family member or we see the family happens to be at a funeral. It is a double slap- I LOVE LARGE FAMILIES-cuz I come from one but I hate everything that comes with it.
Dont get me wrong i love small families to but for some reason or another having a big family makes it i guess more fun in many ways.... birthdays, wedding, babies, graduations, etc you get the pic.
Well thats apart of life and there is nothing that we can do about. I was once told that in order for one to be born one has to leave..... So far that saying has lived up to its meaning. Everytime someone pasts another is born, so true . I have many high school friends that are expecting and a near and dear couz that i love, she is expecting a little girl in Aug.
In Rudy's family, counting both mom and dad side, since we have been together I have been to 5 funerals and 3 weddings. Man we need more happy times then sad. Cant wait to see what is in store for next month.........

MAJOR SLACKER!!!!!!!!

Can we say that I have been totally slacking on my blogging. Let see since the last post there has ben sooooooo many new things in life to report, so here a quick look at the year so far:
1. Monday Jan. 19,2009 I got laidoff from my job after 4 yrs.
2. Found out that my wonderful cous. Ash and Hubby are expecting. YAY!!!!
3. Had a wonderful new year's. went out with Rudy and one of his friends Becker, we went to a bar that Rudys' sister bartends and hung out there for most the night. I left at 1:00 am went home and went to bed to wake up to phone ringging, it was Rudys' sister the bartender calling me to tell me to come and pick the two of them up. Man can we say PISSED OFF. Nothing like being woke up from a bartender and being told to come pick up two very drunk and wasted men. Got love NEW YEARS!!!!!
4. Had a wonderful Christmas with Rudys' side of the family, got lots of good stuff(money for sure). Ate way to much, like normal.
5. Now I'm looking forward to all that life has to offer. Trying to spend more time with family. Enjoy my friends, now that I have time to. Catch up on all the little projects that were started and never finished due to time or funds, still not many funds but plenty of time. LOL.
6. Thought about going back to school, not sure yet, don't know what I want to do or be.

Well tata for now~
